Of the 31 factories evaluated, DICV’s state-of-the-art Oragadam plant was the only one to receive this recognition for its outstanding performance in green manufacturing and sustainability.
The IGBC Platinum certification is globally acknowledged as a benchmark of excellence in sustainable building practices, in line with the World Green Building Council’s mission to promote worldwide sustainability. This achievement underscores DICV’s commitment to integrating environmental sustainability into its core operations, reducing its ecological impact, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

DICV’s Oragadam facility has become a model for sustainable industrial development, incorporating innovative solutions in energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable energy, waste management, and biodiversity enhancement. These initiatives align with DICV’s sustainability strategy, guided by the SPUR principle – Source, Produce, Use, Regenerate – a key component of the company’s business approach. The facility not only reduces resource dependency and optimizes costs but also fosters a better workplace environment.
