The new tri-weekly service will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, further enhancing IndiGo’s expanding international network.

With this addition, Madurai becomes the 16th Indian city to enjoy direct air connectivity to Abu Dhabi. The announcement comes shortly after IndiGo’s new routes from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam to the UAE capital, reinforcing the airline’s strategy to improve international access from tier-2 cities.

This direct route is expected to significantly boost travel convenience for business travelers, students, and families, eliminating the need for layovers and reducing overall travel time.
