Dailymirror.News,National, November,4th 2024: JSW MG Motor India has reported sales of 7,045 units in October 2024, reflecting a remarkable year-on-year growth of 31% compared to the same month in 2023.
A significant highlight of the company’s performance is its New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), which now account for over 70% of total sales—representing the highest share of monthly sales by any passenger car manufacturer in India. This achievement underscores JSW MG Motor India’s commitment to advancing the adoption of NEVs.
The company also celebrated a major milestone in India’s clean mobility journey with the sale of 3,116 units of the MG Windsor, the country’s first intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), within just one month of its launch. These impressive sales figures position the MG Windsor as the top-selling electric passenger vehicle in October 2024.
JSW MG Motor India is dedicated to transparency, regularly updating its sales figures on the VAHAN portal, consistent with its commitment made last month. According to VAHAN data, the company experienced a 34% year-on-year growth in sales this month, excluding figures from Telangana.
The surge in sales during the festive season highlights the increasing popularity of the company’s electric vehicle offerings.
