Dailymirror.news,Hyderabad, June 14, 2025: Pallavi International School in Thumukunta enthusiastically celebrated Van Mahotsav on June 14, 2025, reinforcing the importance of environmental protection and sustainable living.

The event was graced by Smt. V.V.L. Subhadra Devi, Additional Commissioner, GHMC Urban Biodiversity Wing, as the Chief Guest. In her address, she emphasized the urgent need to increase greenery in urban areas and highlighted how small efforts like tree planting can lead to a healthier and cleaner environment for future generations.

School Principal Smt. Vijayalakshmi Sagar spoke about the various green initiatives undertaken across all Pallavi Group of Educational Institutions, including regular tree plantation drives.

As part of the celebration, the school management distributed approximately 500 saplings to students, parents, and staff, who all took a pledge to protect nature and spread environmental awareness within the community.

Adding to the festive spirit, Father’s Day celebrations were also held with great enthusiasm at the school. A variety of engaging games and fun activities were organized for fathers and children, strengthening their bonds and creating lasting memories.

Highlights of the celebration included a ramp walk, a Zumba session, and an energetic Tap to Dance segment, all of which saw enthusiastic participation. The celebrations concluded with prizes awarded to the winners of various games and competitions.
