Dailymiorror.News,Hyderabad, November 23, 2024:After facing severe criticism from tribal farmers and villagers regarding the proposed pharma village in Kodangal, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reversed his position on Saturday. He clarified that the project was not a pharma village, but rather an industrial corridor being planned for the constituency.
A delegation from Left parties met with the Chief Minister on Saturday, following their visit to Rotibanda Thanda and Lagacherla on Thursday. During their visit, they addressed the concerns raised by the local farmers and villagers and submitted a formal representation to the Chief Minister.

In his response, Revanth Reddy emphasized that the goal was to create employment opportunities for women and youth. He assured that the industrial units being proposed would be pollution-free.
He further stated, “It is my responsibility to ensure the development of Kodangal. Why would I cause any inconvenience to the people of my constituency?” Revanth Reddy also mentioned that he would review the Left parties’ appeal for increased compensation for land acquisition related to the project.
