
Daily Mirror News,Hyderabad,July 4th,2024: Godrej Agrovet Limited’s Seeds Business recently announced the launch of three new products at a meet organized for its channel partners. Strengthening its current portfolio of hybrid seeds for Maize and Paddy, the company announced the launch of GMH 6034 and GMH 4110 in Maize and Navya in Paddy thereby reiterating its focus to leverage its strong R&D capabilities and continue to work towards developing climate resilient hybrids. These launches further cements company’s commitment to serve and uplift Indian farmers.

Commenting on the business, Rajavelu N.K, CEO, Crop Protection Business, Godrej Agrovet Limited said, “At Godrej Agrovet, our endeavour is to introduce solutions that aid enhance farmers yield. Being one of the few companies with it’s own R&D in the seed industry, together with our crop protection business, we aim to handhold farmers from seed to harvest.”
Since its inception, Godrej Agrovet Limited’s Seeds Business has focused on introducing superior germplasm for Indian farmers. Considering the wider adaptability parameter and the different durational requirement by the farmers as per the regions and season, these hybrid seeds are developed to enhance yields of the farmers.

“Most of our hybrids are drought, disease and lodging tolerant. With our current hybrids being well received by both farmers and channel partners, we will continue to ensure quality of seeds before being packed and sold to farmers,” added Rajavelu N.K.
Introduced in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh to begin with, the company will be launching GMH 6034 and GMH 4110 in Maize and Navya in Paddy in the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana in the coming months.
