Dailymirror.news,Hyderabad, June 14, 2025:Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) successfully hosted HackPrix Season 2, a national-level hackathon that drew enthusiastic participation from across the country. This year’s edition saw over 3,000 applications from students across 85+ cities in India, out of which 550 students were shortlisted based on their profiles and technical background.

These 550+ participants, some of whom traveled from distant regions including North and North-East India, converged on the Lords campus to take part in a 36-hour hackathon challenge. Working intensely in teams, they developed innovative projects using advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Embedded Systems, and Data Science.

To reward excellence, a prize pool of over ₹1,25,000 has been earmarked for top-performing teams across multiple categories including innovation, originality, and technical execution.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tauseef Ahmed, Vice Chairman of LIET, said:

“After the phenomenal response to HackPrix Season 1, we are proud to bring back HackPrix Season 2 on a much larger scale. With over 3,000 registrations and 550 final participants from institutions across India, this year’s hackathon has truly raised the bar. I wholeheartedly congratulate the young student organizers, faculty, and management team for orchestrating this massive success.”

To ensure a seamless and productive experience, free food and accommodation were provided to all participants on campus. Impressively, the entire event was planned and executed by LIET’s own students, with solid support from the institution’s leadership.
