Dailymirror.news,December 20th,2024: Leading telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) today shared that it has been lauded for its exceptional 4G network experience in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in Opensignal’s 4G Network Experience Report November 2024*, where it examines the 4G experience of smartphone 4G users.

In AP & Telangana, Vi has emerged as a leader in 4G network experience across four categories: 4G Download Speed, 4G Video Experience, 4G Live Video Experience and 4G Voice App Experience, implying Vi’s 4G users don’t just enjoy the fastest 4G speeds but also observe the best quality of experience while streaming live videos, using over-the-top (OTT) services and voice services on mobile voice apps when connected to 4G in India.

This recognition underscores Vi’s commitment to delivering best-in-class digital experiences and highlights its sustained focus on enhancing network performance across the country including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As part of these efforts, Vi has increased its 4G capacity in 5000+ locations by upgrading spectrum bandwidth in 2500 MHz band from 10 MHz to 20 MHz to double the network capacity in this layer, thus ensuring faster internet speeds across 60 districts and 2000+ towns.

Key network upgrades also include deployment of L900 MHz in 3500+ locations across 20+ districts and 1000+ towns to enhance indoor network coverage and addition of 190+ new locations to strengthen the network coverage across the state. These advancements have resulted in a seamless and superior network experience on the Vi GIGAnet network.
