Dailymirror.news,December 23rd,2025: In a major boost to the city’s entertainment landscape, Magic District, touted as Asia’s first real-life multi-theme adventure destination, has officially opened its doors at the AMB Sarath City Capital Mall in Kondapur.
Spanning a massive 38,000 square feet on the mall’s 6th floor, the facility introduces an immersive “walk-through” format where visitors transition from being spectators to active participants in high-stakes, story-driven environments.
A Vision of Indian Innovation
The destination is the brainchild of Tava Srinivas, a National Award winner and Limca Book of Records holder. During the media launch, Srinivas emphasized that Magic District is a showcase of Indian creative talent competing on a global stage.

“After 25 years in the industry, we wanted to bring a world-class adventure experience to Hyderabad that has never been seen before,” Srinivas stated. He also announced ambitious plans to roll out 27 different entertainment concepts across India. The project has also seen international talent return home, with his daughter, Chandana Lipi, leaving her career in the U.S. to serve as the project’s Operations Director.
Phase 1: Four Immersive Worlds
While seven themes are planned in total, Phase 1 has launched with four distinct adventure zones designed for various age groups:
Zombie City: A high-intensity survival challenge where players must navigate an urban landscape filled with the undead.
Scary Escapes: A tactical, team-based attraction focusing on clue-finding and puzzle-solving to escape eerie environments.
Scary House: A traditional horror experience elevated with live interactions and high-fidelity sound effects for thrill-seekers.

Boo Boo House: A specialized zone for children designed to transform the concept of “scary” into a fun, laughter-filled experience to help kids overcome fear.
A New Landmark for Tourism
Director K. Raj Kumar noted that the public response since the soft opening has been overwhelmingly positive. Positioned as a premier destination for families, student groups, and tourists, Magic District aims to redefine the standard for indoor immersive entertainment in India.
