Dailymirror.news,Hyderabad, December 24, 2025: Students from UCMAS Abacus, Attapur, have delivered a stellar performance at the 9th Telangana State Level UCMAS Abacus Competition, held on December 21st at VNR Gardens, Mallapur. Demonstrating exceptional mental arithmetic and analytical prowess, the center secured 9 major awards among a highly competitive field of young minds aged 5 to 12.
Champions of Mental Math
The competition, an annual flagship event, tests children across visual and listening categories. The Attapur branch emerged as a dominant force, with several students securing top honors and cash prizes:
Master Vedansh Thirunagari: Achieved a double victory, winning the Module Champion Trophy (Level D) in the Visual Round (₹2,500 prize) and the Champion Trophy in the Listening Round (₹1,500 prize).
Master Ishaan Nanduri: Secured the Champion Trophy in Listening Category-C, along with a ₹1,500 cash award.
Master Chetan Thirunagari: Won the Group Champion Trophy (Level F) in the Visual Round (₹1,000 prize) and was named Runner-Up I in the Listening Round (₹1,000 prize).
Rihan Mahankali: Clinched the Champion Trophy in Category E.
Pramatha Yeshvi & Yeshvi: Both showcased talent in the A/A1 categories, securing 1st Runner-Up trophies.
Other notable achievers included Master Mokshit (3rd Runner-Up, D1), Master Amogh Krithik (4th Runner-Up, Listening C), Lochana Priya (4th Runner-Up, B2), Bhavyesh (Runner-Up 4, E2), Master Ch. Piyush Patnaik (Runner-Up 5, B2), and Adyant Sahoo (5th Runner-Up, A1).

Ms. Annapurna Koduru, Principal of UCMAS Abacus, Attapur, expressed her immense pride in the students’ achievements. “Our students have brought great laurels to the institution.
