
Dailymirror.news,Mumbai, January 8th, 2025: The Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged significant new orders across India and the Middle East, further strengthening its global presence in power infrastructure.
In India, the company has secured an order to implement an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) in West Bengal. This advanced technology integrates Outage Management and Distribution Management System functionalities, enabling real-time monitoring and control of medium and low-voltage networks. The implementation will enhance network reliability by enabling faster fault detection, quick isolation, and restoration, ensuring smarter and more efficient power distribution.

In the Middle East, L&T continues to expand its footprint with key projects:
- Saudi Arabia: L&T secured an order to establish a 380kV substation to facilitate the evacuation of solar power generation, further supporting the region’s renewable energy goals.
- Kuwait: The company won a project to build a 400kV substation for a major city development, contributing to the nation’s growing power infrastructure.
- Dubai: L&T received multiple orders to set up Extra High Voltage (EHV) substations, including a 400/132kV substation, as part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its power transmission network and maintain its position as a preferred global destination to live, work, and visit.
