Dailymirror.news,Hyderabad, March 6, 2025: HDFC Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Air Force (IAF) and CSC Academy to introduce Project HAKK (Hawai Anubhavi Kalyan Kendra) – Serving those who have served. This initiative aims to provide comprehensive support and services to defence pensioners, veterans, and their families.

The project will initially set up 25 centres across key Air Force units in cities including New Delhi, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Pune, Secunderabad, Guwahati, Jodhpur, and Chandigarh, among others.

Under its Parivartan programme, HDFC Bank will focus on economic empowerment for defence veterans and their families. In collaboration with CSC Academy (promoted by Common Service Centre E-Governance Limited), the bank will provide skill development and training on financial products and services, helping them gain financial independence.

The MoU was signed by:

Defence personnel, veterans, and their families will have access to 500+ Government-to-Citizen (G2C) and Business-to-Citizen (B2C) services, including:
Aadhaar services
NPS (National Pension System)
PAN card applications
Passport services
Bill payments
SPARSH pension services at their doorstep

HDFC Bank will also establish service centres to assist pensioners and their next of kin with pension settlements and financial queries. Additionally, they will gain exclusive access to HDFC Bank’s digital banking services and financial products.

As part of the MoU, HDFC Bank will actively engage with defence personnel, veterans, and their families across India. The individuals managing these service centres will undergo special training by CSC Academy and will receive a monthly financial grant for the first year.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards financial inclusion, digital empowerment, and better service accessibility for India’s defence community.
