A heist like no other premieres on Lionsgate Play on 6th June.  Directed by Nikhil Gollamari, the Telugu-language film features Indhra Ram, Payal Radhakrishna and Rajeev Kanakala.

The plot follows a young man desperate to fund his first film, who ropes in a ragtag gang to rob India’s most peaceful and zero crime village, Dhanapalli. But when their supposedly foolproof plan goes sideways, a chain of unexpected events unfolds, flipping everything upside down.

Talking about his debut film, Indhra Ram says, “This film was an entirely new experience for me, especially as my debut. The mix of crime and comedy felt offbeat, and playing Vedanth Ram, an aspiring filmmaker with big dreams, caught between passion and madness, was both fun and challenging.

Balancing that desperation was one of the most rewarding challenges of my career. It’s not just about the heist; it’s about showing why someone would go that far. I hope I’ve done justice to Vedanth Ram, and I gave it my all.”

He continues, “Chaurya Paatham represents new-age filmmaking. While it follows the heist genre, it offers a layered story set against the rural backdrop that stays with you post the credit roll. Each character is unforgettable and adds a unique twist to the tale.

The production value from visuals to sound are top notch, we’ve put a lot of effort into making sure it elevates the experience.
