Building Climate-Resilient Supply Chains
Nestlé India continues to work closely with farming communities to strengthen sustainable sourcing and climate resilience. The Company has engaged with nearly 80,000 dairy farmers across India, encouraging sustainable and low-emission farming practices, productivity enhancement, and tree plantation initiatives.
Through the NESCAFÉ Plan, Nestlé India engages with over 5,000 coffee farmers to improve livelihoods, strengthen community resilience, and promote environmental stewardship. The MAGGI Spice Plan continues to advance traceability, quality standards, and regenerative agricultural practices across spice supply chains.

Advancing Circularity Through Biodigesters
To support circular resource management, Nestlé India has installed almost 200 large biodigesters and over 5,800 small biodigesters across Punjab and Haryana. These systems help convert cattle manure into renewable energy and bio-fertilizer, reducing methane emissions and dependence on conventional fuels, while also supporting cleaner cooking solutions for households.
