The company is also providing a free first Uber Bike ride to all new users in the city for a limited period as part of the launch campaign.

The new service is aimed at making daily travel easier for commuters heading to work, college, shopping destinations, or social gatherings, while also creating flexible income opportunities for local bike riders who partner with the platform.

To mark the launch, K. R. Nagaraju, MLA of Wardhannapet Assembly Constituency, and Thota Pavan, State Secretary, Youth Congress, Telangana, distributed ISI-certified helmets to Uber Bike drivers, highlighting the importance of road safety and responsible riding.

Stressing the importance of helmet usage, he said timely use of protective gear during the “golden hour” after an accident can save lives and appreciated Uber’s commitment to promoting road safety through helmet distribution and in-app safety features.
